direct-ed is part of TQ Education and Training Ltd. Established in 1958, TQ is a unique education and training company which can offer any project an integrated learning solution. With our head office in Nottingham, England, TQ Education and Training Ltd employ over 600 people worldwide delivering a wide variety educational solutions for our customers. TQ offers a full range of education and training services; it can design, construct, maintain and operate new educational facilities, integrate ICT provision, facilitate finance, procure equipment and deliver education and training through the provision of teachers, instructors and support staff. We have a number of focused education and training operations spread throughout the UK and the rest of the world. These offer a range of academic and vocational education and training programmes.

Through its wholly owned network of colleges in Guildford, Surrey, the company delivers a range of A/AS-level and GCSE courses, English and foreign language tuition, together with a mix of vocational business courses.

Overseas, TQ manages and operates a private institute in Kuwait which provides work-based training to the corporate sector. TQ has also implemented and run turnkey management projects in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait which involve curriculum development, provision of all equipment, ICT provision, recruitment and management of training delivery and support functions.
